Broccoli City Festival

Rock Creek Social Club played an integral part in the production and planning of both editions of the “BCFest”, an annual festival educating citizens of the greater DC area about green & healthy living, presented by Broccoli City.

RCSC was responsible for curating & coordinating the musical acts prior to the festival, on site event coordination and execution of all strategies to promote the event across all social media platforms.  Rock Creek was successful at the Broccoli City Festival and was asked to help with the Smile Project, a one day festival aimed at the mobilizing and activating youth ages 8-14 with interactive demos, programs, and speakers.

Grilled Cheese Social

Rock Creek Social Club refined the current “day party” phenomenon and added a timeless american favorite to the mix - grilled cheese sandwiches.  With the current social climate of Washington DC being see or be seen, RCSC teamed up with Restaurant Marvin, located in the bustling 14th & U St. corridor, and invited all people to come hang out, drink some spirits, and enjoy our one of a kind menu of grilled cheese sandwiches, that are only available at the event and no where else.

RCSC was successful with this event by promoting the event via all means of social media, hand to hand promotion with flyers, and a dedicated team that helped spread the event word of mouth.

F.A.M.E. (Fashion Art Music Entertainment)

Rock Creek Social Club, in conjunction with the Blind Whino event space, created the F.A.M.E. (Fashion Art Music Entertainment) event which served as a opportunity for artists of all genres to perform at a respected and newly established venue.  RCSC used F.A.M.E. as an opportunity to tap into the entrepreneurial spirit of DC denizens, hosting a first floor flee market that allowed people to sell their vintage wares as well as take in the 1,000+  sq ft of art lined walls, floors, roofs, and staircases.

Over the course of 4 weeks #RCSC united creatives, performers, and entrepreneurs in a converted church and showcased a side of DC never seen before.  Through proper planning and execution the events ran flawlessly and were spoken about in the highest regard.
